The Royal Road Residence in Prague is the kind of hostel that is rather unassuming from the outside and yet things are completely different the moment that you walk in the door. Located just five minutes from a nearby metro station, getting both to the hostel and then around the city itself is never going to be much of a problem either.

This hostel specializes in providing apartments and in this instance they have 17 available of various sizes from doubles up to those for four adults. Each apartment comes very well equipped and it is obvious that they have taken a great deal of care over the layout and making sure that you have enough items there to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

There are a number of facilities available from the apartments including an ATM on site, a tour desk, ticket desk, currency exchange and so much more. In addition, the Royal Road Residence can also provide you with car hire and in the winter they can arrange skiing if that is what you are interested in. There is also the option to rent a bicycle which is certainly an interesting way to get around the city.

Any guest is able to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi but there is no smoking, no pets, and no parking on site although there is alternative parking available elsewhere in the city and not too far from the hostel. It should also be noted that each apartment is spotless and it is obvious that the staff do keep a close eye on things to make sure that your stay really is as comfortable as possible.

The staff are also extremely helpful in guiding you towards what to do next in the city and of course with there being a tour desk and ticket desk at the main reception it also helps you to get around the city and not miss all of the main sights that you need to explore during your time there.

Overall, the Royal Road Residence is a pleasant place to stay where the apartments may not be luxurious but they are certainly extremely comfortable and a nice enough place to sleep. The staff are helpful and accommodating and with you being so close to the main parts of Prague it does make life that bit easier in being able to check out what the city has to offer. With a fun atmosphere and enough people around to relax with, this place is certainly a great place to check out.
